Dystopian Nightmare

Big Bird getting Vaxxed...as sick as it gets   *filmMagic photo

That dystopian novel I was never going to write is playing out right before my eyes here in the Golden State. They have been harming the children for over twenty months and no one seems to care.

Close schools. Close playgrounds. Mask all children over two. Lock them indoors. Take away their education. Take away their friends. Take away their grandparents. Instill fear to the point that they believe a virus, which has nearly zero percent chance of causing any harm, is more frightening than any monster under the bed.

Require masks in all educational settings, pre-school through high school, both indoors and out. Force them to eat lunch outside in the cold weather. Require that they do not see each other’s faces. Insure that they believe close contact is dangerous. Scare these young minds so relentlessly that the most terrifying thing in the world is an un-masked face.

Children now walk down the street willingly masked, sealing themselves off from humanity. They do not see smiles. They do not see danger. They do not see life. The young ones have never learned to read facial cues. The older ones have forgotten.

Brainwash the populace into believing that children can kill their grandparents with a single breath. This is as far from the truth as one can get. But even if it were true, since when does a society sacrifice children for the sake of the elderly and infirm? When did this become acceptable?

Every hour of every day, all forms of media continually blast vaccine propaganda. Little children are used in advertisements claiming they are heroes for taking the emergency-use shot so that they can “protect their community”. It is the community’s responsibility to protect the children, not the other way around.

The State of California has now mandated the experimental vaccine for all students, K-12, for in-person learning effective January 2022. Regrettably, the parents of California seem to be all in on this.

There are reports stating that between 60% – 90% of all children over the age of twelve have already been vaccinated. When they recently opened up the 5-11 year old vax sites, all available appointments were quickly snapped up. The parents here cannot wait to get their little ones injected so that they can “get back to normal.”

Except that there will never be a “normal”. Masks are now officially required in schools until June 2022, vaxxed or not. They are still required indoors in most places, vaxxed or not. No matter how many masks and how many injections the public submits to, there will never be a “normal”.

And so the onslaught of the false narrative continues, targeting the country’s most precious resource, its children. Government agencies and school districts keep touting the “Safe and Effective Vaccine.” They know it is neither. They know it is totally unnecessary for not only kids, but most healthy young people to submit to their experiment.

The testimonials of parents whose children have either been severely harmed or killed by the “vaccine” are heartbreaking. I want to scream, “Why didn’t you know? The information is, and has been, out there since before they issued the first shot.”  But they didn’t know because they have been lied to, trusted the government, and had no reason to believe they were being played. When these distraught parents make pleas to warn others, the powers that be do their best to suppress the message.

I try to not think about the devastation to come from this brutal, global experiment. Possibly I am completely wrong and all the vaxxed people will live  long and healthy lives. There is nothing more in the world that I would like than to be proven wrong.

Teachers' Unions...The New Mafia

For the life of me, I cannot understand why the evil, tyrannical, power-obsessed Teachers’ Unions are so anti-education. They care nothing about enlightening our children and have not for decades.

I say this as a State of California credentialed teacher. As a child of the 60’s, I went into Education because I wanted to Save the World. It sounds rather foolish now, especially with the current state of public education. I have watched its slow deterioration year after year. The same can be said for the universities.

Back when I began my career, I assumed everyone in my field had the same goal; educate the young people and we will all live in a better world. After a lifetime of watching the grift, hypocrisy, and outright thug tactics of the unions, I am not sure if that was ever true.

Anyone with even a few brain cells realizes the horrific damage being done to our students who, in California public schools, have been out of the classroom for nearly a year. Common sense would tell you what the statistics prove: increased depression and suicides, loss of socialization skills, one year of learning down the drain. These are ony a few of the consequences that may very well have a life-time negative effect on our children. And for what?

When did educators become Mafia enforcers? That is the only logical way in which they can be viewed. Their resolute stance to keep schools closed is in exact opposition to what I had once believed was the motto of the profession: educate the masses.

A quick look at the curriculum now offered in this State would make one cringe. Nevertheless, I would gladly overlook that disaster if only the kids were allowed back in the classrooms. In many districts, the quality of learning will be as woeful as it has been for ages, but it far outweighs the damage done by locking kids in thier homes.

My only hope is that parents will finally wake up to the gangster-like tactics of the unions that care nothing about the well-being of their charges. Parents and guardians have a collective power that can take down the unions.

TRUMP WON ONE THIRD OF CA VOTES

As of Nov 6, with only 66% of ballots counted, Trump has 33% of the vote in California; Biden 65%. Given that this is California, and that is statistically impossible for their not to be voter fraud, the count could be much higher than one third. (see older post)  Question CA Ballots

Regardless of the final count, it should be of great concern that Biden was declared the winner in winner at 8:01pm on election day. Considering that polls closed at 8:00pm, that is an impossibility. Not one vote had been tabulated at that time.

To clarify how this could have happened, I looked at AP’s Decision Desk that first called the win.

Q: How can AP call a race as soon as the polls close?  AP Q&Q

A: Not all races are closely contested. In some states, a party or candidate’s past history of consistent and convincing wins – by a wide margin – make a race eligible to be declared as soon as the polls close. In these states, we use results from the AP VoteCast to confirm a candidate has won.

How in the name of democracy is this acceptable? How can AP assume they know how I, or my fellow Californian’s, voted?  Even if the entire country assumes that votes in CA are a done deal, that is not legitimate reporting.

Of more concern is that once it is claimed, any votes from Trump are in jeopardy. I would be willing to bet the farm that my vote was thrown out; something one assumes in the San Francisco Bay Area. The only times I have ever voted absentee was when I was out of the country. Even then, I assumed my ballot would never be counted; just thrown in a pile somewhere.

On November 3, I walked into my polling station at 7:00am. Everything was very professional and well run. I had no reason to even consider that my vote would be at risk. Once my ballot was fed into the counting machine, which would be transferred to the county offices at after the polls closed, and electronically transferred, I assumed it would be safe. However, because of the change in the way voting was run this year, I no longer have this assurance.

When I had completed my ballot, there was no machine in which to feed my ballot sheets. Instead, it went into a suitcase style drop box, which in turn would be taken to the county office. That part was completely above-the-board. The concern arrives with what happens after the ballots are delivered. Possibly, a poll worker in the Alameda County Office took my ballot sheets, did not look at them, and fed them into a machine. But I have no confidence that this took place, especially after CA was given to Biden, hours before my ballot had arrived at the county office.  I truly believe that someone may have glanced at my vote and dumped the ballot into the garbage bin. I will never know. There is no way to check.

Confidence in the security and validity of the voting process has been a concern in California for years. It has now spread to the entire country.

The Mavericks is On

not Half Moon Bay....but close
The Mavericks surf competition near Half Moon Bay, CA is a go. The call went out a few days ago giving 24 of the best big wave surfers in the world 48 hours to get on over to California.  It only happens one day a year when the conditions are perfect. If those conditions do not appear between November 1, and the end of March, there is no contest.

Waves get big…really big, during the winter months off of Pillar Point. Owing to its unique position on the Northern California coast and the sea floor below it, when a big winter storm hits, waves off the Mavericks surf break can reach 60 feet. It is not for the feint of surfer; it’s quite the treacherous ride. Not only that, it’s damned cold.

I didn’t grow up at the ocean’s edge, (otherwise I would have been a real surfer girl), but I did brave the frigid summer waters of Stinson Beach on weekends in my youth. No one had wetsuits back in the day, and I had always believed that gradually numbing first your toes, then your legs, then your waist, and then finally just diving into the ice-water was what all ocean swimming was like. Boy, was I ever in for a shock the first time I waded out into the ocean in Southern California; it was bathtub warm!

And even though surfing was never to be a part of my life, I have always loved it. There is nothing more beautiful than the ocean and the sound of its waves hitting the shore. Riding those puppies has to be one spectacular adventure.

The surfing scene in Half Moon Bay started back in the 60’s when a few guys went out into the waters off Pillar Point. They could see the huge surf break farther out, but stuck to the smaller swells closer to shore. However, they did name the break after one guy’s dog, Maverick, who liked to follow the boys out into the surf. The waves they rode were plenty big enough, but nothing like the ones a half mile out. It took a surf-crazed teenager to paddle all the way out to ride the monster waves.

Jeff Clark, at 17, was the first to give it a go back in 1975. And it wasn’t until the 90’s that he’d convinced other surfers to join him.

I’m not quite sure when I first heard of the Mavericks – I do know that it must have been before it became the huge event it is today. Although the first competition was held in 1999, I’ve never made the hour and a half drive down there. For one thing, many of those years I wasn’t in the area. Maybe more importantly, hanging out on the Northern Californian coast in the winter is not anything I would categorize as entertainment. It’s freezing cold. But being a surfer-gal-in-my-dreams, I had always longed to see the guys ride the big waves.

And then out of nowhere, this week we got hit with a week of spring/summer weather in the middle of the winter. Next, the Pacific Ocean throws up a mighty storm and the folks out at Mavericks Control put out the call. The game is on.

That was my signal that it was also a go for me; I'd just grit my teeth and battle the Friday morning traffic down to Half Moon Bay. I quickly went about researching where exactly I needed to go. And just as quickly found out that this year there is nowhere to go. It seems too many people had been doing too much damage to the ecological balance of the Point. Additionally, there were those folks who got too close to the waves and almost died on land a few years ago. (That would be hard to live down.)

Not ready to give up on my mission, I searched around a bit more. I had to make sure that there was really no viewing point for the completion. How did I find out? Called Jeff Clark’s Surf shop, of course. The nice lady who answered assured me that it would not be worth the drive. There is absolutely no access this year. And there never again will be.

I have missed my chance. I should have braved the elements a few years back. There’s nothing to do now but go back to dreaming about that surf shack I have always wanted. It would be a small shop on a rustic beach. I would sell surf clothes and jewelry that I design and make. I still have the clothing designs in my head and samples of the necklaces, bracelets and earrings I have made over the years from shells and found objects picked up along the shores of beaches around the world.

As Brad said to Pia, “There’s hope for you yet, girl-dude.”
